Spray on LizardSkin® Ceramic Insulation is one way major trucking fleets and refrigerated truck and trailer manufacturers are improving thermal performance and reducing operating costs. Initial tests using refrigerated trailers in the southwest area of the U.S. have indicated significant savings in fuel costs after LizardSkin® Ceramic Insulation has been applied to the exterior of the trailers. It’s both light weight and cost effective, and works well on both horse trailers and travel trailers.

White LizardSkin® Ceramic Insulation coating is recommended for use on the exterior roofs of refrigerated trailers to greatly reduce solar heat gain. It’s Class A fire-rated and lightweight--requires application to about 0.030”. Fast clean up with soap & water makes applying LizardSkin® Ceramic Insulation a hassle-free experience
